Rackbeat offers a user-friendly dropshipping function, which makes it possible for you to sell goods without having to handle the inventory directly. This reduces costs and administration associated with inventory operations, while at the same time ensuring an effective connection to your suppliers.

How to process a Dropshipping order in Rackbeat:

1. Preparation:
   

   • Start by creating your suppliers and the products you want to sell.

2. Create Order:

   • Go to the Sales tab and select “Orders.”

     

   • Create a new order or select an existing one, which you want to make into dropshipping.

             

3. Convert to Purchase Order:
   

   • When you are inside the order, click on “Actions” at the top right.

   • Select “Create purchase order.”

     
4. Activate Dropshipping:
   • In the pop-up window, check “Dropshipping.”
   • The customer’s address will automatically be applied as the delivery address on the purchase order.

5. Handling the Purchase Order:

   • Process the purchase order as a regular purchase order, just be aware that the goods are not being sent to your delivery address, but to the customer’s.
   • Complete the receipt for the purchase order in order to log the inventory movement. (This is merely for archiving the order; they are removed from your inventory when the shipment in step 6 is processed.)

6. Further process the Order:

   • Continue processing the order as if it were a regular order.
   • Remember to complete the shipment from the order in order to remove the goods from inventory, since they were not actually received at your warehouse.

7. Completion:
   

   • Your dropshipping order is now created and handled in Rackbeat
