Extra cost on item in Rackbeat

In Rackbeat, you can add an additional cost as a percentage when creating or editing items. 

You can add an extra cost in the form of a percentage to the item's cost price during the creation or editing of items.

To add or edit an additional/extra cost:

  1. Navigate to Items: Select the item you wish to update.
  2. Editing the Item: Open the item's details and find "Extra Cost".
When editing of the item:
    • Enter Percentage: Input the desired percentage in the designated field for additional cost.

 

Calculation of Cost Price:

When a percentage is specified, the system will automatically calculate and add this extra cost to the item's original cost price upon receipt or during production.

Example:

If you enter a percentage of 10% and the item's original cost price is 10 DKK, the new cost price recorded in the inventory will be 11 DKK.
