How to terminate a user in Rackbeat
If you want to delete a user in Rackbeat, it's a simple process. We provide you with an easy step-by-step guide here.
Please note that terminating a user in Rackbeat will follow our notice period, which is 3 months.
You will therefore see a date indicating when the user will be deactivated
In this case, the termination occurred on August 19th, 2024, for the user named 'To be deleted'
Step 1: Go to 'Company Settings'.
You can find this in the menu at the top right of your Rackbeat page.

Step 2: Click on 'Users'.
Inside 'Company Settings,' find and click on 'Users' in the menu on the left side.

Step 3: Find the user you want to delete in the list of users.

Step 4: Once you have found the user you want to delete, click on the trashcan icon located to the right of the user's name.

Step 5: Confirm the deletion of the user.
After clicking the cross, you will be asked to confirm that you want to delete the user. Be aware that deleting a user is permanent and cannot be undone.

Revoke user access: Here, you can prevent the user from logging into Rackbeat anymore.
Once you have confirmed the deletion, the notice period will take effect, and the user will be deactivated after 3 months.

It is possible in Rackbeat to cancel the termination of a user account. To do this, you must go to your user overview.
In your user overview, you will be able to cancel the termination by clicking on "Cancel termination".

After that, you must confirm that you want to cancel the termination of your user account.

Once you have canceled the termination, the user account will no longer be deactivated.
PLEASE NOTE! If you cancel the termination of a user in Rackbeat, the notice period will be reset. This means that if you choose to terminate the user again later, the notice period will start over.
