About the shipmondo integration

You can integrate Rackbeat with your Shipmondo agreement, allowing data to be transferred between the two systems. Below, we will walk you through what the integration can do.

How the integration between Rackbeat and Shipmondo works

The Shipmondo integration makes it possible to automatically transfer orders from Rackbeat to Shipmondo. This allows you to avoid manual data entry and ensures your shipments are always ready in the system.

1. Integration Flow 

This section describes the process from creating an order in Rackbeat to the order  landing in Shipmondo.

1.1 Creating an Order in Rackbeat 

  • Orders are created in Rackbeat, either manually or through an integration. 
  • A Delivery Term is selected on the order so that it automatically receives the matching shipping template in Shipmondo. 

1.2 Transfer to Shipmondo

  • When an order is marked as "Confirmed," it is transferred to Shipmondo under "Order Management." 
  • As long as the order has not been processed further and remains under Order Management, any reopening or correction of the order in Rackbeat will be  synced to the order in Shipmondo. 

1.3 Manual Changes After Transfer 

  • As long as the order is still in the "Order Management" stage, updates from  Rackbeat will carry over.
  • If the order has already moved to "Shipments" in Shipmondo, the connection  between the Rackbeat order and Shipmondo is severed. 

    - Changes made in Rackbeat will no longer update the order in Shipmondo.  


2. Data Transfer

What is transferred via the integration:  

  • Which way is the data transferred?  
    From Rackbeat → Shipmondo
  • What is transferred from Rackbeat to Shipmondo?

  • Items:

    • Product name  

    • SKU

    • Weight  

  • Order:
    • Item lines with price and quantity  
    • Order notes
    • Customer information.
  • Delivery details:   
    •  Delivery template (matched with delivery terms in Rackbeat based on integration settings)   

    •  Delivery address 



3. Setting up the Shipmondo Integration

The setup takes place via Rackbeat’s integration menu, where you can easily connect your Shipmondo account. The guide walks you through login, API key validation, and default settings for shipping rates.

Please Note: If you work with batch numbers, these are not transferred to Shipmondo.

Q: What should I do if an order is not transferred to Shipmondo?
A: First, check that the order is marked as “confirmed” in Rackbeat and that a delivery address has been entered. Missing address is the most common cause. 

Q: Can I customize batch numbers in the integration?
A: No, batch numbers are not transferred. Alternatively, you can manually add the batch number in Shipmondo if needed. 

Q: How do I avoid duplicate shipments?
A: Avoid manual edits in Shipmondo on the draft shipment. If you need to make changes, do them in Rackbeat and then confirm the order.
