How to export customer data
You have the option to export the data you have on your customers. This can be a good idea if, for example, you need to import customer data and want to ensure a backup first. Below, we guide you through how to export data on your customers.
You can export customer data in two different ways in Rackbeat. One method will perform a complete export of all the customer data you have, while the other allows you to select which customer information you want to export. We go through both options here.
Exporting Customer Data with the Option to Select Which Customer Information to Export
- Select "Sales" in the top bar
- Click on "Customers" in the menu
- Click "Export" in the upper right corner
- Choose which customer information you want to include in your export. You can select all the information in the bottom with ''Select all''
- Choose if you don't want to receive an email when the export is complete by marking the check box at the bottom. By default an e-mail will be sent when completed
- Click "Export"
- When the export is finished, you can download the file by clicking on "Download file"
Exporting All Customer Data
- Hover your mouse over your name at the top right corner and click on "User Settings"
- Select "Data Export" in the menu on the left
- You are now in the "Customers" tab - click "Export Customers"
- The file will be downloaded immediately
