How to create and use languages in Rackbeat

In Rackbeat, you can create the languages that are relevant to your business. This way, you can translate your product names into the language your customers prefer. Below, we guide you through how to create languages and add them to products and PDFs.

Creating New Languages

  1. Hover over your company name in the top right corner and select "Company Settings".
  2. Click on "Languages" in the menu on the left.
  3. By default, several language layers are already created. If you want to add a new language layer, enter the name and language code in the fields on the left (for example, “German” and “DE”).
  4. Click "Create New Language" to finish.

Product Translation

Before your products are translated into the selected language, you must tell the system how they should be translated.

Go to:

  1. Products – Products/Bill of Materials
  2. Open the product/Bill of Materials.
  3. Go to the "Translations" tab.
  4. Enter the Name and/or Description in the chosen language.
  5. Click "Save" on the line to save changes.

Layout Translation (PDF)

PDFs sent from the system can automatically be translated into Danish, Swedish, English, Norwegian, Finnish, and German via layouts.

Go to:

  1. Company Settings – Layouts
  2. Click the three dots next to the layout and select "Edit".
  3. Select the language in the pop-up and click "Save Changes".
