The mail log in Rackbeat

Rackbeats mail log provide an overview over sent and failed mails.

In Rackbeat, you can access a mail log that gives you an overview of all sent and attempted emails through the system.


Accessing the Mail Log

To access and view the mail log in Rackbeat, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Company Settings: Hover over your name in the upper-right corner and click on “Company Settings”.

  2. Go to Mail Log: Select “Mail Log” from the menu on the left.


Contents of the Mail Log

The mail log contains detailed information about each email, including the following columns:

  • Date: The date and time of sending.

  • Entity: The entity the email is related to, such as sales orders or invoices.

  • Recipient: The recipient’s email address.

  • Subject: The subject of the email, which can be customized during sending or when editing email templates.

  • Status: The status of the email delivery, including:

    • Delivered – The email was sent and received.

    • Queued – The email is waiting to be sent.

    • Bounced – The email could not be delivered.

    • Failed – The email failed to send.

  • Sent from: Indicates the source of sending, which is relevant if emails are sent via integrations such as e-conomic.

⚠️ It is not possible to see the body text of the email that was sent.


Email Delivery Checks

When an email is sent, the system automatically checks if the specified domain is valid. If the domain does not exist or is invalid, the email will not be sent. This may appear in different ways, for example:

  • The email cannot be linked to the customer.

  • The email remains in “Sending” status without being delivered.

  • An error message appears during sending.

👉 If you experience issues with email sending, it is a good idea to check whether the domain is correct and exists.

The mail log is an important resource for:

  • Monitoring Email Activity: Ensuring that all important communications have been sent and received correctly.

  • Troubleshooting: Identifying and addressing any issues with email communication.
